Qigong for Immune Support & Heart Healing
Time & Location
About the event
Please join me for a daily virtual Qigong practice beginning March 18, 2020 at 8 AM PDT on Facebook Live and Instagram Live @jillannmorlan.
What is Qigong?
Qigong is the practice of cultivating energy. With intention, gentle movements, and conscious breathing we all have the ability to increase our Qi (life force) and activate the body’s natural healing capabilities in order to treat imbalances and create harmony.
Qigong offers meditative and peaceful movements that allow us to turn inward and address ourselves. These movements help us to cultivate relaxation, equanimity, centeredness and balance at all levels of our being.
Why practice Qigong now?
Qigong is a gentle yet powerful form of self-cultivation and healing. It is one of the five pillars of Chinese medicine and has been used for thousands of years to treat disease and imbalances of the body, mind, and spirit.
Regular Qigong practice is known to have a profoundly positive effect on both the nervous system and immune system. In this time of great fear and uncertainty, it can offer us an immense amount of support and grounding.
Each morning at 8 AM PDT we will gather in the virtual space for our practice. I will be leading us through two different Qigong forms: Immune Boosting Qigong (standing form) and One Thousand Hands Buddha Qigong (seated form). The practice will be 30-45 minutes and you are welcome to come and go as you please. I will also save the Live footage for you to view in your own time after our session is complete.
Although this will not be an in depth Qigong training, you do not need to have any prior experience with Qigong to join in on our practice. I invite you to follow along no matter what your experience level is and trust that the movements will come together with repetition.
Please share this with anyone you know who could benefit from this practice and I look forward to connecting with you all online!
Note: Jillann is currently only offering in-depth Qigong trainings. Follow her on IG @jillannmorlan or on FB at Jillann Morlan for periodic virtual Qigong sessions.
